Bad Communications

We're in Manila doing various chores. The last one of the day is to pick up some materials from a supplier (note: this is an alternative supplier as the first one constantly changed his mind about the price, the location for pick up, the availability, the specification).

So the driver calls (on my phone) to get directions and proceeds to head so far out of Manila even I know we're heading in the wrong direction. So, and starting to get impatient, I get him to pull over at a service station.

He calls the supplier again and is (shouting) on the phone for 7 1/2 minutes. When I eventually get him off the phone I ask him where we're going and says he doesn't know.

I'm speechless.

Liquid Relief in a Capsule

If you've never had neuralgia, lucky you. If you have you'll understand what a wretched curse it is and how debilitating the pain is.

I seem to get more often these days, along with migraine (I can just about deal with the migraines which are more sparkly lights than pain).

With the neuralgia, if I can catch the first twinge of pain early enough I can stop it in its tracks. If not, there's a whole load of misery in store.

Your Safety Is Our Concern

Seen in the foyer of Legaspi domestic airport.

What are you supposed to do: deposit your shoe/underpants bomb there before boarding?
